Corner Stone Ceremony

Doug Kovatch set the cornerstone for the recent expansion of Kovatch Castings at a private ceremony for family and employees on June 17th.   The expansion was dedicated to his father, Frank Kovatch, founder of the company.

Doug’s words honored his father and the Kovatch Castings’ employees.  “We are gathered to celebrate and dedicate our expansion to a man of vision, determination and Christian character. He was man who wanted a better life for his family; who wanted the family name to make a mark in the world.  Frank Kovatch wanted to provide good jobs for people and to give back for the blessings he received.  He was a dreamer, a doer and a risk taker.  He always surrounded himself with good people, people like all of you.”

Kovatch Castings is looking forward to the ribbon cutting ceremony July 22. The ceremony will mark the completion of the project partially funded by the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act through the Ohio Department of Development’s Targeting Energy Efficiency Grant.
